I've just been looking at mine and I have 26 in total, ranging from phones, tablets, SkyQ, printers, network storage, laptops etc etc ....

Is this an average ....

I'd say not on here with OcUK geeks :)

Heh was showing 4 when I logged in to checked, dropped down to 2 when I refreshed - normally it is around 12 or so with phones and tablets and the odd other device - most of the NAS type stuff is wired in, same with most laptops when they are in use.

Usually have around 12-15 wireless and an additional 14-20 wired clients depending on who is and isn't here.

26?! How is your brain not fried :p

I only have 3 - my phone, printer and bedroom TV. I do have a laptop but seldom use it. Only me in the house.

Between wired and wireless 50 devices at a guess.

Certainly enough that when I last used advanced IP scanner, it made me a bit paranoid wondering what a lot of them were (ended up having to do a mini audit!) :D

For our family of four, it's:

18 wireless (4 laptops, 5 phones, 4 tablets, 2 PCs, 2 Roku units and a printer)

5 wired (PC, Mac, HTPC, Wii U, TV Box)

Less than some here, but when I add them all up it seems an incredible amount! Doesn't seem long ago there were just two PCs plugged into a router and nothing else on the network...

29 last time I checked. IoT has massively increased that number in the last 12 months. The house got kitted out with smart plugs and Amazon Echos everywhere.
