How many games do you have installed?

Hi Guys,

With storage space essentially a non-issue in this day and age I was wondering if anyone else is like me and only keeps the few games that they are currently playing installed? Or do you keep everything installed regardless of if you're playing it?

Too many.

Some of them I just don't want to uninstall for some reason... Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 are pretty big installs but I just don't feel like deleting them. I tend to have quite a lot of indie games installed at once too.

I have two 500GB drives in RAID 0 that I dedicate to games, mostly Steam. Simply because my internets are less than speedy where I happen to stay, and the thought of re-downloading a game is less than appealing. As you stated, storage is a non-issue these days

Currently about 25 installed, but when I get payed its time for an SSD and a 2tb drive to replace my lonely old 500gb maxtor, so that 25 will probably get thinned down to about 10.

But with the same problem as iostream, low connection speeds mean anything I download will be getting backed up to disc. Especially if I get rid of GTA4+EFLC which comes in at 32gb!

40, i hate having loads installed and then i never play anything. I think if i installed one at a time i would play more.

Usually I keep a select few constantly installed, but if I'm realising I'm staring at a games icon and thinking 'Meh' enough odd noises in my head ensures it gets a swift uninstallation.

Keeps my sanity.

8 of them are on hold while I play through 3 others. 1 is CS:S, which I've been on most days since getting it. 2 of them I don't really play, but would go on if a mate gave me a shout or something (L4D1 and L4D2 - though I should probably uninstall the former as there's not a lot of point having it what with Valve slowly releasing its campaigns on the second game). And finally there's GTA IV, which I'm simply not uninstalling because it would be a waste of time and bandwidth (plus my girlfriend sometimes likes to play it

).
