How many hits do you get every month/day to your site? and how to boost traffic

Checking out the traffic that comes to my web site, I am very chuffed to find out I get on average 700 to 800 visits a month that’s about 35 a day from around the world and I haven’t even advertised. I was just wondering how many hits do you get to your page?

My site is www.whatcanyousee.co.uk

Also… The percentage of the British visiters is not as good as what I was expecting. What advice can you give to try and boost not only traffic but to gain more British visitors to?

No offence m8 but isn't advertising your own web and graphic design business by posting links to it here on the forums, frowned upon?.

Otherwise we would all be posting links to our sites!!.

lol true but its all with interest. I am curious to see other people’s traffic they get and what advice they can give.

And any way why would i want to advertise my freelance web page to web designers?

That's a shameless plug mate

Go and have a read of some basic seo tutorials. Would also recommend putting some keyword content on your site too, as it seems to be lacking.

You could get extra traffiuc by simply doing some oin page seo - as you're missing a few notable elements- tbh I'm very surprised it gets that many visitors (i suspect all your visit times will be < 10 seconds, as there isn't much at all content wise on the site) E.g. on your home page there literally only 4 words for the search engine to go at, not even any alternative text for images). Loads of content is one of the main reasons wordpress blogs tend to do well in search engines and get indexed quite fast.

Just out interest, do you have any idea what searches your sites shows up in, as there is literally no text all for search engines to go at.
