How many hours a week do you work?

Less than 40 would be nice... I've done between 80-90 for many months straight before (= extremely burnt-out), but right about 66 these days.

It helps that I only get/need 1-2 hours of sleep per night, so that allows a lot of free time that otherwise wouldn't be.

35 hours per week. Mon-Fri, 9:00 - 4:00. Plus I'm doing 3 on-line classes to try and get my degree finished. And have a baby on the way in a couple of months.

My Starcraft II game is going to suffer :(:)

0800 1630 Monday-Thurs

0800-1330 Friday :)

I do like finishing early on a Friday, but i am looking for another job and would be willing to work all day Friday if need be :)

None right now as I'm a student:) but i used to work 12hours a day 5 times a week as a driller sometimes 7 days a week when i needed the money. Also served five years in the British army i done two six month tour of Iraq and let me tell you they were the hardest shifts I've ever done. Was emotional:(

Salaried based on a 40 hour week. Sometimes it's less sometimes it's more but I guess it works out about that on average. Depends which days I work and what if anything needs doing out of hours.

I used to work 35 but that was well over a year ago, but now I'm out of the rat race running my own companies so it's dropped to 10-15 hours a week, some weeks even less and I never work weekends.

Same! :D

I was wondering last night how many hours a week the Prime Minister works. Anyone any idea?

9-6 most days with an hour for lunch, but I do a bit of work in the evenings too. I'd say roughly 50 hours a week, but it can fluctuate depending on the week and how many times I have to go to other departments for meetings.

On agency :(

Job 1
6am - 6pm no official Lunch Mon-Fri
6am - 1pm sat
67 hours per week

Job 2
9pm - 1130pm however 8 hour min shift roughly twice a week

So officially paid 83 hours per week, work 73 odd

Was 47 hours per week for just over a year, then I changed to 32 hours per week and it's been that for the past 8 months. From next week it will be 45 hours per week until September at least, then I'll decide what I'm doing after that.

I'm a student so I don't really count in this discussion

However because its exam season, I'm doing 70+ hours a week at the moment. During term time its 40-50 hours and a hell of a lot less during Christmas and Easter. Will be doing around 35 hours a week over the summer

Anywhere fro 60 to 80 or more. It's the end of my teacher training course, so I have a horrendous amount of lessons to plan and evaluate, evidence to write up and file, journals to write, marking to do, resources to make etc etc.

Spending time in school from 7:45am till 4:30pm every day working, and then doing 4+ hours paperwork every night at home is killing me.

Still - 13 more days till I'm done! :)

7am - 5pm weekdays, finishing at 4pm on Fridays and then 7am - 11am on Saturdays... Been doing an extra hour most nights as this is the busy period. Roll on October when I go back to University :D

Actually work 40 hours a week, but get paid for 35. The extra hour a day gets added up until after 35 days working we get a full week off, works pretty well as I have most of the summer off work because of it :)

Some people choose to work their week off as normal and get 40hours overtime in, stuff that!
