Was talking about this to the missus this morning. I'm nearly 32 and have had just 4 jobs. First job lasted about 9 years, then a couple of brief spells on the dole with a 6 month stint at a supermarket sandwiched in between (not a good time in my life...). She, on the other hand, is nearly 24 and has had 10 jobs! And that's not including 2 jobs that only lasted a day :p

So how old are you and how many jobs have you had?

I've had two jobs myself, removal man which i've done for 18months (hard work, but great crack), the other job i've done is pr work, handing out leaflets and stuff. Thinking i need a new job though.

I am 30 and i'm on my 9th job. is causing me big problems now on my CV too many jobs. i never seem to stay anywhere longer than 2yrs. my other half is 37 and has been in his current company for 16yrs, he had i think 2 jobs previous to that.

I'm still in my first "proper job". I worked at a BK and Asda store for a couple of weeks each when I was at school but don't really consider them due to the amount of time I worked there. I've been doing my current job for seven years so far.

I'm 28, 29 on 3rd March. :o

4 part time jobs in my early teens.
2 x music shops
paper round
sales assistant

then when I left school only one job. Piping design apprentiship. (well, design supervisor now).

edit. how the hell can I supervise oil and gas design but not be able to spell apprenticeship!!!

Since leaving full time education, I've had 8 jobs, though 5 have been at 2 companies where I changed jobs (sideways and upwards). Have had the pleasure of being made redundant twice. Not too bad for 30.

I'm 22 and currently a student so no job right now ;)

So far I've had 4 jobs(3 with the same company - they love me so much I keep going back ;)) as well as 1 week at a computer parts store and a couple of days doing direct selling for two different companies however those were such short periods I don't bother to mention them. I've only failed to get one job after getting an interview which isn't all that bad a ratio I reckon but it will get worse :)

27, only had 1 full time job, it was in 2 periods, one for 2 years, and another on for 8 months, both at the same Architect practice.

The rest of the time i was/am in full time education. Currently freelance part time interpreter...which ironicly earns me more per hour than i ever did working full time.

I'm 22. I've had 3 real jobs and 2 part time student efforts. Was in my first job for 15 months, second for nine months and been in this one for 8. I can see myself being in this one for many a year though.

Zero :D. Always been my own boss.

I did have a job interview once ~4.5 years ago for a junior IT consultants post which I was offered and turned down. Glad I did as the company went bust a few weeks later!
