hi im trying to find how many miles i am away from southampton, is there anything on the net where i can type in where i live and southampton and it will tell me roughly how many miles away it is? i tried google but dont know what to search for other than 'map' lol

If the former, there are routines on the net that will give you straightline distance from two pairs of lat/long coordinates. If by road, either Autoroute or the online route planners, as have already been mentioned.

teach me to read it properly, it was 2.56 hours and i read that as miles, it was around 150 miles....
