hi im trying to find how many miles i am away from southampton, is there anything on the net where i can type in where i live and southampton and it will tell me roughly how many miles away it is? i tried google but dont know what to search for other than 'map' lol

It is no way 300 miles to Southampton, even from Colchester. It is less than 2.5 hours drive away, something like 140 miles or so to S'ton.

teach me to read it properly, it was 2.56 hours and i read that as miles, it was around 150 miles....
