How many miles do you do a week commuting

Currently 900 per week!!!

I leave my current job on 01-Oct-10 and start working from home again when I start my new job on 18-Oct-10, oh the deep joy :)

10 per day from home->work so 50 a week,

but sometimes i have to visit other offices, varies from anything to extra 30-230 miles per month, paid for ofcourse :)

120 miles down to Coventry on Sunday night and then back up to west yorkshire on friday night. So thats 240 miles as well as around 50 miles going to and from the office in the week. I really need a better car for the job! :o

I am currently spending lots of time in my office in Solihull and that's an 84 miles round trip and takes about 45 minutes each way, so nothing much. I worked 72 miles from home for 6 years and drove there and back pretty much every day for 6 years. I actually liked the drive in the morning, liked it less on the drive home.

65 miles a week

I could go another route which would be closer to 50 miles but there are far far more traffic lights that way and if you catch them wrong, a 15 minute drive can turn into 30.

My weekly routine includes going to college 3 evenings, so instead of about 3 miles a week, it's about 85 miles during term time.

Those that have had their office location changed have you been compensated for it or just told to lump it?

Do many of you have a cheap car as a commuting vehicle and then something nicer on the drive as I'm mulling this option.

I.e. Ford KA for a commute and then something else on the drive - maybe my Leon Cupra.
