With my Alfa 156 I am getting about 340 miles from a full tank :( which is costing me £55..

These are urban miles too - not much motorway driving involved.

(Anyone wanna buy my Alfa ?)

About 500-550ish, economic Polo for the win.

Edit: I wouldn't worry too much, you could be getting much worse. The car I'm considering will probably do the same as you for £70

well I get a grans total of 280 milea on a tank (about £50 worth)

normal A road and town driving.....

got to love turbo's........yes ouch!!!!!!!

But slow car for the loose!

Hehe... indeed, there aren't many things it wins at, I have to take them when I can. Hopefully being replaced by a faster car soon :)

Can I be *really* smug here and mention that I got 721miles before the light came on last week :) From the light coming on it costs about £52-56 to fill the tank, it's an Audi A4 1.9 TDi.

On motorways, 500ish in the Audi.

I did London to Fife, via Birmingham and back (950 miles) on about £90 of fuel.

edit: The Lotus never has more than 25L in it, weight reduction don't you know.

I'd kill for most of the figures in this thread :(

If I drive how I like to drive (which isn't balls out acceleration, red-lining everywhere), I get around 250 Miles from £55 :(

If I drive how you would expect an 80 year old woman to drive, average 65 on the motorway, I can get a whopping 380~ miles from the tank.

\o/ for turbo goodness \o/
