How many MPGs

I miss my 125, was getting about 80 - 90 mpg out of it, thought the BMW had broken down this morning but had actualy run out doing about 55 mpg, the small tank on bikes mean I need to fill up every two and half days where as the 125 was more like once a week, which is a pain in all the leathers etc.

What MPG do you get? is 55mpg for a big single good?

Sounds about right... I used to get around 65mpg out of my K75 on a long run, and around 60 from my SP3. You could always get an aftermarket tank if you want to extend the range - there's some info here (I'm assuming you've got an F650, it being the only modern BMW single I know of).

I'd compare levels, a 1000kg car with 70hp I would compare with a 125 which as above would return 80 - 135 mpg, and then mid level say a mondeo returning 38-45 and then a mid level 500 - 600 probably returning 50 - 60 mpg etc

If you think that way you'd get approx double mpg car - bike

Can't think of any other way to compare
