As part of the work ive been doing for the UK Ambient Orb site, ive written some code so that users on the internet may change the Behaviour of My own Ambient Orb

What is an Ambient Orb

An Orb is a device designed to display information wirelessly - eg, what the weather will be like today (Red = Bad / Green = Good / Yellow = Sun / White = Cloud /Blue = Rain for example) or whether your team won last night etc.
Now this device is intended for use in the USA and communicates wirelessly through a pager network.

Here in the UK and the Rest of Europe, this Pager network is not active so the orb cannot receive signals wirelessly - However, it is possible to connect the device to a PC and interact with it in some really clever ways :)

So whats this post really about?

Well, I have written the ability for you, (yes you!) to change the colour of my orb and influence my life! (Ok maybe thats a bit much but you get the idea)

So How do I do it?

Visit this page, and choose your options!
Yes I know its crude, by the idea is to prove a point to see if it actually works.

How do I know this is actully changing anything?

Ill post a video when it gets going, so in order to see some video, you know what you have to do!!!

Any guesses on what the most popular colour will be?

well it only changes every 30 secs at present...

uill getpictures/video up soon

red is still the top colour

and people seem to like the heartbeat!

yeah the difference is with the orb is that you can define what colour for it to go - for like a purpose, rather than to just impress the girlies ;)
