How many of you have taken an advanced riding test?

Just wondering how many riders here have taken anything after their initial full bike license?

I think when I have a bit more money I will take one just to give me some more confidence and know how.

I did a CSM advanced rider day when I was 19 and I have a bikesafe day booked for October, have a look only £50 and run by the police

You might consider one if the courses that the IAM run... been thinking about doing the advanced course myself. You could always buy the book (or the roadcraft book on which theirs is based) and practice the techniques yourself - you'll be a better rider regardless of having a certificate.

Yep, I did IAM. It was very good, highly recommended.

Actually joking aside, i done a full on instructors course, cos I was toying with the idea of setting up a training school. The one thing that is constantly drummed into you is 'always anticipate' Which you should all be doing anyway! Otherwise you are an accident waiting to happen !
