Hey all,

Just wondering how many of you use the lucid stuff on your motherboards to take advantage of the IGP and your gpu's?

Do you see any performance increase/decrease at all?

If a mod could turn the first question into a poll I'd really appreciate it :)

Please do. They claim an increase in performance in a benchmark though I can't really see that.

The low power consumption and fast video conversion do interest me, however!
 
I've watched videos and read manuals but I still don't fully understand the functionality it offers.
 
noobs. Maybe you should check topic i did other day about it. With Benchmarks and ****.
It does give 100 more score in heaven But there is problem with it. DX11 got massive memory leak and makes it unusable in lets say bf3. Works fine in wow tho.
 
I thought the difference was focused a lot on efficiency, so you'll find better power consumption with certain tasks without compromising performance.

after a lot of messing around i seem to have got it running as it should for me it does stabilize my fps in battlefield 3 but the witcher 2 wont even load if i have virtu install

i5 2500k @ 4.7ghz msi geforce 560ti @ 1000mhz core and 2150 memory

3D Mark benches mean jack with Virtu, it's bugged. Play a game and see if you get performance increases, half the time the game will crash. I uninstalled it, too much hassle than it's worth.
 
Just wondering about this lately as well. There are three versions of the lucid software, lucid virtua lucid MVP and lucid universal. Which one is best? I have a z68 board, I presume the lucid virtua is the best for that chipset?
 
Iv installed it and re -installed it over a dozen times , iv checked my bios stuff , To now . When iv got it installed i doint know if i got it or not at times , , Sometimes my kids have a logo come up with virtu MVP in the corner , but 1, its pi*ss em off and two , since i cant get no MVP screen up I dont know if it interfering or improving apart from traditional software or even its on at all ?

It's mostly for power efficiency, lets you power down the graphics card when not gaming. But thy kind of do that anyway these days.

It just made a bunch of my games crash so disabled it.
