How many over 30's

41, Completey standard e39 528i. Its done over 270k miles without a major failure, which ,apparently, is non standard!:p

30 and drive a mk2 mx5 RS

Mods on the car:

Lowered on Bilstein b14 height adjustable coilovers
15" Panasport Pro Rally wheels
mk2.5 sport brakes
Braided brake lines
Cat back SS exhaust
Ducktail rear spoiler
Roll bar
Carbon kevlar seats from a mk1 RS
Chassis and strut braces

And hopefully more to come :D

Me. I've got a Ford Anglia with a fibreglass flip front, Lotus steels, 1700cc pre-crossflow, Capri brakes and adjustable suspension (low). I've also got a Model T hotrod based on Ford Pilot running gear.

Is that your car in your sig?

Yes it is :)

The camber looks a bit off! :p

Haha, it sure was when I got it in December. Since then its been raised and had a full hunter alignment with a fast road set up dialed in. The 16" Grid Drifts have been sold and I've got my mates 15s on for the time being until I pick up a set of lightweight ones and stick some ado8s on them :)

Did you just realise you're in the Ken Bruce demographic?.

You just become a Radio 2 listener, for me it happened mid 30's when I realised that Radio 1 was just ANNOYING! I'm 45 this year so I'm considering Radio 3. Also, you get utterly annoyed with Radio 5 when you hit 40 and realise that Radio 4 is where you really need to be. Radio 5 is so tabloid and Nicky Shambles makes me want to boil me tuds every time I hear his cocky "I think I'm clever" delivery.

A few then, so tempted to get an intake and exhuast for mine but in the back of my mind something is telling me I'm too old for it now but I really do miss the noise and the tinkering

Matt82 why devasted, being 30 is awesome I dont why people worry about it so much

Sarah Montague's voice makes me feel all warm and fuzzy even if she's talking about dead babies. Eddie Mair makes me feel calm on the wind down from work.

But any lefty spin makes me shout and scream at the radio mind, must look like I'm having a mental breakdown behind the wheel. Story's are immediately followed with 'Labour say' 'Shadow x says'. **** OFF, they're not in power, no one gives a ****, what does the actual goverment have to say about it ffs.

*ahem*, so yeah I'm not even 24 so I'll leave this thread. :o

I gave up Modified cars/motors in July last year & bought an old out the box Golf estate, I was 45.
Now my mid life crisis is taken care of by my Chopper & any other bike I'm going to buy this year.

I'm debating about whether a nice Eisenmaan exhaust puts me into the 'good taste' or 'why did you ruin your car?' category.

I think that is a thought process that has come with having transversed the hallowed 30 barrier.

Before I wouldn't have cared, but now I don't want client's windows rattling when I turn up for meetings.

I'm 30 and drive a Lexus IS300 with a few mods.

H&R Springs -35mm
Hotchkis ARB's
18" Rota Force wheels
HKS Hi Power Silent backbox
JoeZ Intake pipe with drop in filter.

That's how I ended up listening to Radio 2 and Classic FM also.

I realised one day that Radio 1 is just really annoying.

I find Radio 2 really annoying, other people have it on at work all day.

Mini Cooper S

15% smaller supercharger pulley
Dave F filter
GRS motorsport intercooler
Eibach springs, Koni FSD shocks
OMP lower brace
17" R112 alloys
and probably more that I've forgotten.

Basically I've just added the things that I feel it should've had from the factory, nothing too extreme like a stupidly loud exhaust or anything. Just a bit more speed and more comfortable suspension

What kinda power does that make out of interest?

Yes it is :)

Ah damn, guess you purchased it with all the work already done then, was going to ask where you got your number plate mount!

Radio 4 is indeed, where its at, apart from Women's hour (I am a raving feminist but that show makes my blood boil in its counter productivity) and the Archers
