How many over 30's

I was wondering this the other day :) I'm 30 and been thinking off adding some subtle mods but then I think "aren't I too old for this"?

Seems not :)

Ah damn, guess you purchased it with all the work already done then, was going to ask where you got your number plate mount!

Yeah the work was already done when I got it. I'm pretty sure there's a few guys over on mx5nutz that sell the brackets. One thing to remember though is that you'll have holes in your bumper where it used to sit. Fortunately the previous owner got the holes filled and the bumper painted :)

Edit: Link for brackets: http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=79768&st=0&p=971853&fromsearch=1&#entry971853 and http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index....6975&hl=numberplate&fromsearch=1&#entry906975

31 and totally stock this time, even my phone mount is suction cupped to the screen :(

will have to sort it out with ebach springs and a fat SC once out of warranty :D

I think I still had my Pop when I was 30. That was standard apart from the engine. Sidevalve with high lift cam, uprated valve springs, flow work, high compression head, heavily machined flywheel, bigger carb and 4-branch.

Thank you very much!

33 nearly.

Got a 1987 Galant Vr4 with a fair bit done to it.

Tears tomorrow though, as it looks like its sold :(

Good man on the VR4 - shame you're selling :(

Not quite 30 (next year!).

1996 Legnum VR4:

Lowered
Superdrager exhaust,
re-mapped ECU,
aftermarket air filter

It did however come with all of that, and I wouldn't have been particularly bothered if it had been completely standard (although the exhaust does sound fantastic!) ;)

I've always had modded motors, some will remember my Golf which was remapped, lowered, exhaust, the usual stuff. I'm nearly 31 and just had the Civic but it's got a catback exhaust and it's at the car audio place today having an install done :)

In the coming months it's gonna get lowered, light smoke tints, wind deflectors, a good induction kit, wheel refurb, maybe new wheels (rota grid drifts anyone?) and who knows, odd bits and bobs.

You're never too old. I'm eyeing up Corsa Arctic VXR's and I do too sometimes think I should be past this now!

But why be boring and have a dull motor or indeed a dull life?

If mine wasn't a company car it would be!

However, my bike (when I still had it) was modified.

I *have* to modify my vehicles.. I can't help myself :o Usually non visible ones though.

What kinda power does that make out of interest?

The only power mods are the filter, pulley and intercooler so it's not massive, maybe 200BHPish.

The next step would be 17% pulley, cam, 550cc injectors and an ECU tune which would give a healthy increase but I'm quite happy with the power as it is.
