How many pages before you give up on a thread?

Depends on the quality of comments in the thread. I remember avidly reading the Gucci belt one as the comments were so funny. Many long ones just descend to pointless bickering and the same arguments repeated over and over again.

One page if it gets boring, normally a few if its good then skip to the end to see if it is still going them sometimes i even go back and read through it all.

Depends on the content really.

Up to a dozen depending on content by then its descended into baiting and woke/antiwoke "you're a racist!"/"no u!" agenda knocking seven bells out of each other. Then its just a short time before it gets locked.

Once a thread reaches a point where all of the posts are the same two users arguing the semantics of some trivial point that no-one else cares about and that neither are going to concede I assume the thread has run its course.
