I'm waiting for Ryzen 6000 series laptops to be released before deciding on what laptop to get. I hope I can get a fast CPU with graphics that can game at 1080p while also doing serious work such as programming. More USB Type-C ports with USB 4 support would be a big win as well. I'm also interested in seeing the battery life of the new laptops.

The 6000 series parts are looking incredible for PPW, and the battery life looks staggeringly good so far. I'd go so far to say as anyone shopping for a thin and light, or even a middle of the road laptop would be crazy to buy into a 12th Gen Intel with only 2P cores, and graphics that are comparably from the dark ages. Desktop replacements however, where you don't care how heavy, noisy or power hungry it is, then Intel have it in the bag.

There's the 6800U which looks perfect for ultrabooks.

Plenty, the 15w range of parts is really where the 6000 series will shine.
To be fair to it, It seems to run everything really well and the GPU stays at roughly 65deg so a bit reluctant to get rid. I may even wait for 7000 series at this rate.
