You must have charmed the cop - they usually push for dangerous driving above 120!

Was upto the court panel at the end of the day. Police did write a report saying it was dangerous driving, even said i might have been street racing etc..

I wouldnt call 120-140 dangerous driving in the conditions at the time. (Summer/dry, 2:00am ie no traffic not even lorries on the stretch, good tyres car that was capable of the speed etc..) They took all this into consideration and decided not to go for dangerous driving luckily.

I know what you mean - I was doing 120 just before I got done on the M6 for 100 but by the grace of god something told me to slow down - at the time I thought the car gaining on me from behind was an undercover cop, but nope, just some muppet ragging a Focus RS! Part of me is grateful that he probably saved me a ban, the other part is bitter that they were filming me and not him! haha
