I've had about 8 today and it got me wondering if it could be dangerous to carry on in this way, as I've heard if you eat more than 7 bananas it can be fatal.

Does anybody know?

I had about ten, yesterday. Why couldn't you have asked this yesterday?

I'll post and let you know whether I'm dead in a few minutes.

I think the main problem is that it is basically like eating water, so you need a few to feel mentally satisfied :p Perhaps if I start eating the skin as well then I won't need as many?

What about eating 6 large onions in 1 day? Is that safe? Sometimes I like to bake/boil them like potatoes and eat a plate of them.

Bananas have a shedload of potassium in, good to a certain level, beyond that and you're looking at your heart stopping, so not so good.

Satsuma's, vitamin C, too much and you just get rid of it as your body doesn't store it like many/most other vitamins and minerals so its hard to get a dangerous build up of it.
