well thinking of playing this again with the boring phase of pc games at the moment :(

used to play this few years ago and was a good game.are there still lots of busy servers and how many of us overclockers play it :p

i will be playing the free version updated .
 
I'd love to play it but it randomly locks up ( the whole pc, I can only reboot) for me since I upgraded from an audigy SE to an Audigy 2ZS, and some of the sounds like checkpoint sounds or using the horn are often unhearable even though they always were with my audigy SE.

Servers are still RAMMED.

This game will NEVER die in my opinion.

I play United Forever and wish there were more United servers as the tracks/Cars are superb.

Agree. United servers are impossible to find as the world is full of Nations servers.
 
Pro's ? That's impossible pro's usually stick to servers for which you need 50+k ladder points :P. Or well, abck when I played they used to.

It's a shame I can't play the game on my own pc atm, I have united on steam and really enjoyed it.

I too have it on STEAM and also have the DVD (Bought the STEAM version for convenience really).
 
I still play trackmania on and off. Its a great game to pop online, do a couple of tracks and relax.
 
Sorry to hijack the thread but it is kind of related.

I am in the process of acquiring a dedicated server. Would there be much interest if I setup a United Forever OcUK server?
 
Still playing United Forever. I tend to play on the Zirpelino servers as they're fairly well populated but have 40k entrance limit thing.
I'd be interested in playing on a dedi server, assuming there were peeps around.
 
Play Trackmania Nations Forever (free) at least once a day.

Usually on the RFR (Real F1 Racing) server (Arizona, USA). 105 Past and Present f1 tracks (as close as possible I guess with TM), pretty much always full.

Good fun, and a break from the usual jump/dirt TM stuff.
 
Im currently playing TM Sunrise. I dont bother with online much, just trying to get golds in all raced is hard enough. And try and beat the occasional author medal (which is stupidly hard)

aye thats a good server, its just whenever i go in i forget about the no drifting rule n end up flinging myself around like im on a tech track and people get annoyed.
 
I keep meaning to start playing this again. I have United Forever and normally go through a yearly phase of playing it to death before getting a bit bored of it.
