Saw a similar idea elsewhere.

Afternoon. I shouldn't need to remind everybody of the fine goalscoring exploits of Arsenal's salacious number 10 Robin van Persie this season, but he's scoring a lot, 26 goals in 28 games to be exact. The idea of this thread is to predict how many teams in the Premier League he will outscore come the end of the season.

Competitor 1 - Wigan

Played - 28
Scored - 24 (23)

Competitor 2 - Wolverhampton Wanderers

Played - 28
Scored - 30

Competitor 3 - Queens Park Rangers

Played - 28
Scored - 29 (27)

Competitor 4 - Stoke City

Played - 28
Scored - 27 (26)

Competitor 5 - Liverpool

Played - 27
Scored - 30 (26)

Competitor 6 - Everton

Played - 27
Scored - 28

The figures in brackets are goals scored minus own goals. I know Wolverhampton are a more prolific outfit than the others, but I think they will struggle from here onwards, hence their inclusion.

I personally believe he will outscore Wigan (obviously), QPR and possibly Liverpool. It's all very close and it's all to play for. Let the countdown begin.

Good Luck Robin.

He's loving it.

Not Liverpool, they'll do their usual of completely dropping out of the running for anything and then spanking a few teams in meaningless games towards the end of the season in order to give their fans hope for next season.

A better thread would have been how many premiership teams Messi will outscore this season.

If that's what you think, why not go and make that thread, rather than doing nothing about it?

Anyway, on topic.. I think he will outscore QPR, Wigan and possibly Stoke. Might see if I can put a bet like this on at the bookies? :p

You are a prophet sir, 3-0 to Liverpool last night :D

I'll go for Wigan, QPR and Stoke, would have been hilarious if Liverpool were overtaken too but that is unlikely now :(
