How many texts does a K750i store?

Is there a limit to the number of text messages that can be stored on a K750i or does it just keep storing them on the phones internal memory? Fed up with my V3 that only stores about 100 texts even though it has about 4mb of memory!

Not enough i think with sent messages it's about 250
