Hey,

I did a quick search before posting and couldnt find anything to back it up...apologies if there is and also searched google!!

But basically me and a friend have decided we want to buy a full roll of lottery scratchcards from the shop...what we need to know is how many there are on a roll...either £1 or £2 cards,

Anyone know?

Why not just throw your money into a bin instead?
*(Possibly)

Very true, well its something ive wanted to do for ages and I thought why the hell not, its only like staying in for one weekend anyways if its £100 or so (being around london)!!

Gotta have some fun, gonna combine this with some clever betting on the olympics (if thats even possible) and try to cover it with some sure bets that I hope come in!!

Contradictory no?

Very much so, but im sure you know what I mean, no bet is a sure thing but you can stack the odds by backing the (what should be) bankers to come in...

Well its planned for September to go mad, we are either gonna split a roll or go one roll each depending on how many on a roll and how much...probably gonna lose but you never know!! I did a similar thing last year on holiday and out of the first batch I was up £50 roughly, shoulda stopped but ploughed it all back in on different cards...

I was wondering if different cards or going the same card would be better or not...for this im sticking to the same card!!

Also, do your research, on the lottery website, they is a section to say what % each S/C has of winning a prize. Although you might not win a lot or you may win a lot. its worth getting a scratchcard that has the best % of winning a prize. Also, on Teletext it tells you how many of say £1000 prizes are available to that scratchcard etc.

For example, if a scratchcard has 10 prizes of £1000 to be won, Teletext will tell you that say 4 of those 10 prizes have been claimed/won. etc.

Me and my friend used to do it on lunch every Friday, put about £20-£30 each and buy £40-£60 worth of scratchcards, they was a few times we got up by about £80+ each, but a few where we broke even or just below.

But we used the lotto website and teletext and decided from there which scratchcards to go for. Tactics and Luck is what you need :)

Thats awesome, I knew about the lottery website info but not about teletext, I will use this to my info for sure, even if its not a huge difference to my odds of winning more, any little bit of extra info is worth it!!

This is gonna be so cool!!
