How many watts can you pull safely from a wall socket?

As above, what's the safe amount you can pull from a single / double socket?

And correct me if I'm wrong but each floor will be on a ring so you could use that amount off each floor?

So if it's 2000w for example, you could pull 2000 watt on each ring / floor?

I know it's more than 2000 as my portable heater uses that much plus have my pc/tv in same room.
