It works out at 850w any chance of me getting away with the 700w M12 Seasonic?

well they do have a tendency to crackle but there less than a year old and my girlfreind bought them for me for christmas so cant really replace them.. anyway moving on, any suggestions on a modular supply at 850w

well ideally as its going in a case with a window and i dont want to be looking at all those extra wires....

yeah true however im going to need something over 800w which i think only leaves me with the choice of a tagan (which i know won't fit 2x6pin PCI cables next to each other on a 8800GTX as there to big/heavly sheilded... or the Energmax which is a monster and will strugle to fit in most cases...

Either way im going to shoot myself in the foot or be shot at which ever way i go! (I think)

Any Suggestions

sorry to jump in, but what does modular mean regarding a PSU? :D
is it just that a modular has fixed power cables, and a 'non modular' u can remove/add power cables as you wish?

Close.. its the other way around!!!
