We had a great time with Black Ops 2 on Wii U, off screen play with one on pad and one on screen works perfect. Just wandered how many here would consider it for Wii U? I want to see this happen lol.

Aside from the fact I hate FPS on consoles, I certainly wouldn't buy a multiplat on Wii U over PS4.
If you are just wanting to hear from those who would apologies, wasn't sure on the thread intentions :)

Ah no worries mate, yeah that's fine just wandering general opinion. We tend to get most games on PC but a couple multiplats on PC and console.

We had Black Ops 2 on Wii U and had more fun on that than on PC tbh. Would def pick the Wii U version over PS4 just due to the off screen play for co op. Works really well. Want to support the Wii U a bit as well. If third party's come back I will buy the games.

It's looking like it's just me so far, this prob isn't the right place as obviously most people PC centric here lol.

I've always seen COD as an online game as the campaigns have never appealed to me, and I don't really know (may well be a misconception) but I think that online with the Wii is pretty bad.

More of a party console as I see it, for example Mario Kart with a few mates round :)

I would never buy Black Ops on the Wii U, the last experience of COD on the Wii U was enough to put me off forever.

Black Ops 2 Wii U single-player has some issues in places, but the multi-player is really good and had a fairly active online community last I checked.

Not exactly a huge fan of CoD myself (played a ton of MW2 back in the day but CoD hasn't appealed to me greatly since), so I couldn't see myself buying BLOPS3 at all unless it does something quite special... something to really freshen up the formula.

The actual technical performance of online gameplay on WiiU is fine - I've played a lot of online Mario Kart 8, Smash bros., Bayo2 and some third party games like ME3, Tekken Tag 2 and BLOPSII and never really had any stand-out issues performance wise. The occasional lag that you would get on any console.

The Wii U is 'missing' system-side features like a party system, integrated messaging and voice chat, which is why the console gets some flak for it's online capability. At least it's free - there's no subscription required to play online.

I bought my Wii U just to play Nintendo exclusives, the same applies to Xbone and PS4. i get all my multi-plats on PC, in short - No I wouldn't buy a Wii U version of COD.

Oh I tell you one exception, Rayman we got for Wii U as it made great use of the game pad :)

The official Black ops 3 website lets you link your Nintendo ID so it may well see the light of day on Wii U

Hope this happens !

Will get it on PC + Wii U for local co op.

Same, some shooters are an exception though, purely because Wii U local co op is awesome with one on TV and one on PAD.

We've got to many consoles / games now lol. Really fancy Black Ops 3 on Wii U. Hope Nintendo make it happen !
