How much better is the Rift S compared to the OG Rift?

I have a Quest 2 and 2 OG Rifts, one as a nice little repair project (internal ribbon cable and external main cable)
But, mooching around the bay for more repair projects there seems to be a fair few Rift S's kicking about in need of some fun fixage.
So, has anyone had both an OG Rift and a Rift S, and how did the visuals compare.

How do you find the visuals between the Quest 2 and Civ 1?

It's basically the same. The Quest 2 has a little less SDE and slightly better colours. However, depending on the games you are playing and the card you are using to drive those games there is a chance that in some games the Rift S might look better than the Quest 2.

With the CV1 even if I crank up the visual settings as high as they'll go with a 3070 they're still not as good as the native Q2 in PCVR, but then the Q2 can also have the settings cranked up.
Plenty more SDE to stare at with the CV1 but the CV1 audio is still second to none.

It does seem a shame that legacy software isn't available to be able to some of the older headsets like the DK1 and DK2.
