How much better than a x1800xt is x1950pro?

Is it worth the upgrade, what with the new low prices and everything?
I'll probably wait to get a dx10 cards when they come down a bit. But if the x1950 is like twice as fast or something, then maybe...

its not better, for all intents, the performance is more or less the same depending on the app with the 1800 mostly the faster.

The only substantial upgrade to an x1800xt right now is either:

a) Crossfire

b) Geforce 8800 series

Since a single 8800 card can beat most dual GPU solutions from the previous generation, is DX10 capable and cheaper (if you sell off your x1800xt and get a 8800GTS) your best bet is an 8800.
