How Much DDR3 3GB or 6GB

Hi

Just a quick question how much DDR memory do you have to use to have a smooth running system 3 x Sticks @ 3GB or 3 x Sticks @ 6GB

Mainly used for gaming

I'd go for 6GB. Also, you can only buy one set of 3GB from OCUK, and that's dominator. You'd be much better off with a £100 set of 6GB, than the dominator £120 3GB set.

I'd go with 6Gb.

The Kingston set that gurusan posted ran at 8-8-8-20 at 1600MHz by default for me. The XMP setting probably makes it more stable, but mine was still perfectly fine at those lower timings, and memtest came back with no errors.
