how much difference do fans make on a single rad?

Hi guys, first, apologies for mentioning closed loop systems in the WC subforum!

I have a Corsair H50 (1st Gen), which I used to run on a pair of akasa apaches (the old brown ones).
When I rebuilt my machine into my new case, I wanted to stick to a colour scheme (white/light blue) so went with some cheap arctic cooling PWMs. they are a bit noisy at full whack, although with my CPU at sock, they are still more than ample to keep it running, so I guess what my question is, is would there be any benefit to swapping out these for a pair of Scythe GTs (I think I could handle they grey, but if not, I've seen a lot of people painting them, looks do-able!) or are there any other white/blue themed fans I should consider, or would I be better off just sticking with what I've got now and just not turning them up as high.

I realise most of this is entirely subjective, but opinions are welcome!

Corsair SP120 fans are flavour of the month, and available in blue or red

Synthe GTs are better fans (quieter and better performance) but SP120 look nicer.

I would say they are quieter but in terms of performance about the same on most radiators. Comparisons i have seen slightly favored GT's with low to moderate FPI radiators and SP120s with high FPI (like the stealth rads).

I think between them, go for whichever give you more peace of mind.
