Hi guys just want to check if anyone has an idea how much it cost to get brake lines replaced on an Astra Mrk 4 ?

pipe doesn't cost that much at all, depends on how much stuff needs removing to replace them.
On my old colt it needed the fuel tank dropping to get access, still didn't take that long to be fair though.

They won't be a few quid to replace if you pay a garage to do it.

If you're brave enough to have a go yourself you're going to need a good few lengths of copper pipe and the correct tools to bend it with.

My previous Mondeo had corroded brake lines. They were replaced from the middle of the car to the rear and it cost around £160ish.

underneath the car mot guy said they have slight corrosion so i should keep an eye on them.

I hate "slight corrosion" MOT advisories. The moment a car is built it starts corroding so all cars have "slight corrosion".

One on my Fiesta managed to burst during it's MOT due to corrosion, had that and another one replaced at local garage for around £60-70.

I paid £24 for the actual copper pipes and then did it myself, fuel tank had to be dropped, but these were straight from abs pump to rear brakes and the front ones too.

Garage said he would have charged about £250 due to having to drop fuel tank and exhaust and prop, everything gets in the way apparently, i did it without but struggled like mad!!
