How much does a motherboard weigh?

Hi,

I am trying to calculate the shipping cost for a motherboard and i was wondering if anyone knew how much they weigh?

Unfortunatly i dont have any scales myself

1 to 2 Kilo maybe?

Boxed with everything in i'd say about 4 to 5kg.

Nah no more than 3kg including packaging. Most are around 2kg, but I posted an ASUS A8N-SLi Premium to Spain last week and it weighed 2.777kg including packaging. Cost me £30!

Yeah this is what worries me, this one is goin to australia and i put the weight in at 1.2Kilos and it was £32!

Which postal service are you using? International Signed-For airmail can accept upto 2kg I think and shouldn't cost any more than £20. Anything over 2kg needs to go with ParcelForce and that pushes the price up.

According to the Royal Mail website, a 1.2kg package to Australia is about £12, plus £3.50 if you want it to be signed-for.
