How much does hosting forums cost per head by bandwidth approximatly

Obviously it's going to be variable

Am I also right in thinking if you had multiple forums running form said hosted space you just need more space and band width would stay the same. Assuming you had accounted for 100 unique people and there where 50 at each site no 'cross-over' accounts.

Most basic packages come with 10GB or so bandwidth, which sounds like it'll be more than enough for what you want to do.

Suppose best way is to give it a go and find out

You might be able to find a really cheap option with low bandwidth, then if you hit it, you can just upgrade that rather than the whole package, although some hosting companies are not like that.
