How much does it cost to get a tow truck out?

Basically I will need to get my 330d to a garage first thing Monday morning, and I cant use my breakdown service. I think it will need to go about 5-10 miles (just into Northampton).

Anyone have idea how much this might cost?

If I arranged through a BMW dealer would it be more expensive or cheaper?

Ring BMW dealer, when my dads Mercedes broke down due to immobliser fault, it cost £40 to get it recovered and fixed :)
 
I'd be on the phone to arrange them to collect it.

My dealer collected my car a while back (F.O.C.) a round trip of 22 miles, for the £450 I paid out on the ABS / brakes, I'd damn well expect F.O.C. ! ;)

Dealer couldnt arrange a tow truck, but I got a third party one to come out. Cost £40 + VAT. They said an hour, but were within half that time. Not bad.

Car should be arriving at dealer anytime.

Off to get hire car soon!
 
Depends by company and what kind of equipment they send out... ie if ya vehicles a 4WD theyll need to send a flat bed as you can Front or Rear Suspend them...

Edit: Spelling.. Fat bed? XD
