I've pulling together a system for my gran. got the I3 10100, 2x4GB DDR4 3000 and a ASUS Prime H410M-A in my baskets.
Looking at its specs, it will not support anything above 2666MHz RAM as it is not an i5/7/9. Or will I be bale to stick on the XMP profile and it'll still just work at 3000MHz? But I recall memory speed not having a big impact on intel performance compared to AMD?
I'm hoping this build will "just work" given it's for my Gran!
