i usually have 160gb-1tb drives normally for windows, so I’ve never taken notice or needed to take notice how my storage looks aftwards as I fill it with games and stuff anyways, but I have an old celeron c900 ddr3 ram laptop that will need an hdd and because it’s several plus years old I guess, I m not looking to waste much on it, so looking for cheap 64gb ssd’s..

From online searching I have read 64gb is enough for either operating system, but not seen any mention about the upgrade on such capacity, this laptop is a win 7 one so has the key which I plan reinstall, but will likely want to upgrade to 10.

Thanks for reply.

Suppose it depends on the files? General windows stuff, cleaner, antivirus, kodi and iTunes is about all it would see app wise.

Windows 10 takes up less space than Windows 7, is that iTunes including music or will that be on another drive? If not what you have listed will probably take 20-30GB.

EDIT: Just read the OP properly. You don't want to install Windows 7 then upgrade to Windows 10 thats a whole world of pain, go for a clean install of Windows 10 and make sure you enable storage sense.
