how much for student intranet

Ive just been asked by a friend how much it would be (estimate) to setup an intranet for 200 students to look at work and resources etc. I said about £4000 to setup and £10,000 a year to manage.

Is this about right any could I give her any solid info from any of you. thanks

It entirely depends on what equipment you already have, what you want, etc etc.

It is entirely possible to setup such a thing at virtually nil cost.
