How much gas and electric do you use?

I just got the utility bills through and my electric seems fine at 800 units for the quarter but my gas is at 6600kWh for the quarter, that seems really high, only 2 people in the house and the heating is on for about 6 hours a day, there is a water cylinder, which is heated when the heating is on as far as I can tell.

They actually checked the meter and I also gave them my own reading so that's right, just seems really high

I've been using 70 kWh gas a day by my estimates, which is why I'm a bit worried as I can't see how that much is used!
