How much have you spent on your car? (mods & maintenance etc)

During a weak moment last week I went looking around Pistonheads to investigate running costs of TVRs. I saw a few that had spent £10k+ on mods and repairs (over 2-3yrs) which seemed like a hell of a lot of money to me.

This morning I thought I'd work out how much my mods were worth and to my surprise it came to almost £11k without labour charges :eek:

(inc £2k worth of ICE) oops!!

Come on then, be brave and work out how much you've spent (yes, that means you Drexel and the other serial modders

)

Damn, never noticed that. My costs are without insurance/petrol/etc. They're just mods.

I do however feel much better after seeing what Drexel has spent!! :eek:

That's my concern. It'll spend its life sat on the drive, waiting for an engine rebuild or something
