Hey guys,

I was wonderin if any of you guys could tell me how much i could sell my comp for, just plannin on building a new machine and figured you guys would be best place to get a rough price.

Heres the spec (Don't laugh ive had this comp for 2 or 3 years)

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400+

2GB of RAM

1 x 160GB IDE hard drive

1 x 80GB IDE hard drive

1 x 80GB SATA hard drive

1 x DVD writer

1 x CD drive

1 x Floppy Disk

akasa fan controller

400W akasa ultra-quiet power supply

ATI sapphire radeon 9600XT (256MB DDR memory)

Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP motherboard

It wont have an operating system though, but can run windows xp, vista and linux all ok.

So if anyone could tell me how much they reckon this could go for that would be an awesome help, jus if its not worth anything i might just set it up as a media center or something.

Thanks a lot

matt :)

Something around the £200/£250 mark I think. All those parts are quite uncommon now, if anyone wants them is another question, and welcome to the forum matt :)

Welcome to the forums, please read the FAQ.

Take special note of the rules against posting price checks outside of the members market (which you don't have access to yet).

My jawa would also like to welcome you but I don't have access to his picture at the moment so that'll have to wait.

Cheers for the welcome, yeah i kno, im sure someone will want it just to use as an ordinary computer.

I'm goin to have to start a new thread for my build over summer, lots of questions on the whole PCI-E cards and god knows what ever else, since been a few years since i built a comp.

Sorry if I'm being a pain, but that sig isn't allowed. It's animated which is against the rules and it's also over the maximum filesize allowed of 20KB.
