How much is a 360 worth?

I'm asking because my friend purchased a a 3RLOD 360, but he is going to fix it using the xclamp replacement method and sell it on, so he was wondering.

Guess its not worth much anyway, He bought it for £50 so he might as well keep it?

Why not send it to MS? 3RLOD = Warranty repair for free.
