Is it worth £750?

I would say yes it is, just. The BluRay DVDRW and the hi res screen enhance the value and make up for the GPUs which aren't all that.

I'd try and get the price down to £700 though. 2 years old is 2 years old and I would have to factor that in, particularly for a Dell laptop, with or without warranty.

In fact I wouldn't buy a 2 year old Dell machine at all. There are too many good laptops to be had brand new for that price or a little more.

I would echo the above also, for the spec its not that cheap, similar specced sony AR series go for around £500, but it is a sought after Dell model and command a price.

Also check to see if the 8700m Gt had the famous Nvidia fault from new, they have a very high failure rate.
