How much of at Bottlekneck?

Hi

I'm running :

Asus A8n32-SLi
Opteron 144 @3.06Ghz
SLi'd 7800GT
2GB standard memory at 214 Mhz, 3-3-3-8 2T

How much of a bottlekneck is my memory in the system? It is a gaming rig.
If an upgrade was worth the money, what would match my system nicely?

Its not a bottleneck at all really, you will see very little benefit from upgrading. Tightening your timings will get you small gains but I wouldn't bother buying new RAM.

What sort of memory do you have? Your timings seem very slack for the speed you are running that ram.

two 1Gb sticks running at 290Mhz with 3-3-3-8-1T timings is excellent :confused:

I think he means the OP, but my RAM was excellent until it went to join all its ballistix buddies in ballistix heaven
