Seeing as a few people raised that there should be the same for AMD as there is for Nvidia. So i thought a TressFX performance cost thread would be the best way to keep things fair.
To participate you'll need a copy of Tomb Raider 2013.
For the purpose of this test, please disable SLI/Crossfire and do not use VSR/DSR as these are not accurate.
Settings - Simply select the "Ultra" quality preset in the menu before the game starts.
Run one benchmark with TressFX on and one with TressFX off.
Please make sure to use the format in this post: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=28798561&postcount=4
If you don't know how to calculate the performance hit, use this calculator: http://www.calculatorcat.com/free_calculators/percent_gain.phtml
Make sure to put the TressFX off result into the first box and TressFX on into the second box. The other way around will give an incorrect result! The calculator should give you a negative result.
