How much power does extra memory in a netbook consume?

I recently bought an Aspire One netbook with 512M ram. My immediate thought was to upgrade to 1.5G by adding a 1G module. But I wondered how much extra power will the extra memory use? The less power the netbook uses the longer the battery will last and I doubt whether I will be doing that intensive tasks on it so is it better to just get another 512 or leave as is? The cost is so low that upgrading is attractive.

Thanks for the replies. I will probably go for the full upgrade to 1.5 then. It is a hd version btw.

james - Interesting link. I got the hd version because it was going cheap and the ssd models only have small ssd. But I had thought about swapping to ssd in the future as it sounded like a good match with the netbook idea but part of that was thinking it would be lower power.
