What is your budget here or is it just keep going until I say stop? If it is a money no object style then for easily available PSUs you should look at the Enermax Liberty 620w(modular), Seasonic 600w, Tagan 580w Easycon(modular) and the FSP Epsilon 600w. All allow plenty of headroom for overclocking and are good solid PSUs.

Just had a look at those and i suppose they are a bit pricey.

I am basically looking for the best bang for buck!

At present i have an enermax eg365, which i guess will not be enough for my proposed rig.

Probably not, how about posting what your budget is then and see what is available? You could probably get away with any decent PSU of 430w+ which ought to make the budget a bit more reasonable but the lower the wattage the less headroom for overclocking.

I don't really have a budget as such, i'm just trying to get good performance/value ratio. I think something around the 500w mark. I will be looking to overclock a bit.

Ok then, all around £60ish in no particular order - FSP BlueStorm 500w(not in stock), Enermax Noisetaker 535w, Antec TrueBlue 2.0 480w or Tagan TG480-U01 480W. None of them are modular as I don't think you will get a good modular PSU for the price, I'm discounting Hiper from the modular list as I don't think they are that great although plenty of people seem to use them without problems so who knows. For my money it would be the Enermax 535w at £65 but I'm sure others have a different opinion :)

Modular means that the cables can be disconnected or rather you only need to connect the cables that you are going to use so it leaves the case looking a bit neater and improves airflow a little. However with a bit of effort you can achieve much the same results from cable sheathing and maybe some cable ties to hold the cables out of the way.
