Can the x64 users say please whether or not they noticed a massive improvement going from 2Gb to 4Gb and in what application?

I built my new system with 4GB so can't say how much of an improvement it is compared to 2GB.

2gb + 1gb in spare pc both on XP Pro.
Eldest daugther has a gig in here XP machine, and my other daughter has 384 in a WIN2K flip chip machine.

I'm also interested in the 4 gig in vista machines results on both 32 and 64 bit.

2gb in my home PC (XP)
512mb in my home laptop (XP)
512mb in my work laptop (XP)
3gb in my VMWare server (Windows Server 2003)
and
1gb each in 3 of my test PCs (XP)

2GB here, was just thinking can you still overclock ok with 4GB and run dual channel or am I still thinking like the old days?

512gb cheapy crucial.

My team 2gb Micron D9 set was off for RMA, and is now at home and not my uni address :(

2 gig plus 2 gig on the side ready for when I upgrade to VISTA (and get a motherboard that supports 4 gig :p)
