Used to be 4Gb of Corsair 6400 - from this morning it is now 8Gb Corsair Dominator 6400

The other 4Gb went into my studio rig and I now have 1Gb (2x512Mb) Corsair spare

2gig (2x1), will get 4 gig DDR3 RAM when its better priced as I have a GA_P35C_DS3R board. Currently running vista x64 ultimate and have been for a while, so can't see any problems there.

1GB here atm have been for about 4 years now.


Would 1GB be enough for vista + some apps e.g. photoshop etc, or should I be looking at 2GB minimum for useful vista activity.

I.e Winxp will run in 256, 512 will let you work a bit, and 1GB is great. but what about vista?
