Hi all,
My Mini Cooper is pulling to the left when i'm 'a cruising. The tyres and pressures are all fine, so i'm wondering if the tracking is out.

How much should I be paying for it sorting? My local MOT place will do it for £25 per axle - does that sound OK?

Cheers,
Matt

Hi-Q in Scotland will do the front two for £18. The alignment specialist in edinburgh (CLCM) said he'd do a proper laser alignment on four wheels for £48, which is £2 less than the only kwikfit I could find that would do four wheel *tracking* (not the same as alignment)

normally £20-25 for all 4 wheels.

Asking around in Glasgow, I've found that lots of places will sell you a four wheel tracking when they actually mean two wheel. They call it four wheel because they measure the front wheel tracking in relation to the rear wheels but only adjust the front ones. If you then proceed to tell them that your mondeo (this may not be true of all cars) is designed to have all four wheels adjusted they will respond that only dealers can do that.
