No matter what anybody says your car is always worth more to you than anybody else so i need some people to give me some real figures. How much should i sell her for, details as follow.

1990 Polo CL 1.3 (G)
47,000 Mile genuine
Manual (5 speed)
Petrol
12 Months MOT
FSH including bill of sale (LOL)
Sun roof
4 New Tyres
Imaculate condition inside and out

Starts first time every time, sits at the motorway 80 mph no problem. No rattles at all, all panels are straight and solid. It has a strong reliable engine and feels very nippy for only a 1.3.

Pictures: Inside1 , Inside2 , Front1 , Front2 , Back , Clock , Side1 , Side2 , History , Roof , Engine Bay .

what you think?

Not sure if this helps but...

I just got an insurance payout of £565 for my 1992 K reg Peugeot 205 1.4i GT (5 door). It had done 137k miles. Best of all, I only paid £450 for it. :D

So I'd imagine you could get more than £500 certainly. I wouldn't take anything below £500. Slap it up for sale for £800 or something and see what happens.

Tidy car. :)

well she has been my first car and my pride and joy, so i have always cleaned her and serviced her.

i will do an average off what people say, then stick 100 quid on top.

Sweet car mate. I hade one the same age and engine in black as my first car.

Sadly only worth a few hundred though.

:(

Good lord, that car is absolutely mint! Very impressive for a car of that age - particularly suprised about the interior.

At a guess, I'd put a price of around £500 on it.

Don't get me wrong, it's in fantastic condition. But you really won't get much more for it with it being an older car and so on. :)

I have worked on the interior quite a lot to get it that clean, when people get in the car they say its like it has just rolled off the production line. it is very clean inside.

Just a question, can you remember what the brakes were like on it :D

I would say that it is worth no more than £500. Although it is in amazing condition it is still 16 years old and a VW Polo. Your best bet would be to put it on ebay with a reserve and see what comes up, the pictures alone should sell it.

VW has a certain snob value to it compared to other cars (certainly of this age) so who knows what you could get if you sell it in person as a mint example maybe even 1k but anything over 500 is probably good.

Clean up the engine bay a bit and spray the camcover with VHT paint.

Parkers will value this for you online for 2.99. You can get a paper version if you order it from a newsagent. I'd be interested what it says if you do this :)

I'd say about £600-650.

The car is amazingly solid and well looked after. It goes very very well for the 1.3 that it is and the interior defines the word mint.

Ok, to most people it will be a 16 year old Polo but I think you have to see it and have a drive in it in real life to fully appreciate the quality of it.
