How much space do I need for a gpu?

Hi all

I'm in the process of downsizing to a small atx case from a Fractal Design Define S. I'm going for something a bit more contemporary than the big black box and am leaning towards either the Jonsbo UMX4 windowed or Be Quiet! Pure Base 500.

The UMX4 will take a 310mm gpu and the Pure Base 500 will take a 369mm gpu. My current gpu (Palit 2070 Super Jetstream) is a pretty chunky 292mm - am I likely to ever need more than 310mm for a high end gpu?

You're unlikely to need more than either of those any time soon - the old R9 295 X2 was huge, and that was only just over 300mm.

Thanks - that's what I was hoping. It looks like the vanilla 2070 Super is only 267mm, so it's 25mm shorter than my version. UMX4 is firmly on the table then!
